Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 June 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of techforgood.consulting and the services described on it (together, the “Services”), offered by Tech for Good Advisory (Pty) Ltd, trading as Tech for Good Advisory SA. By using this website or engaging us for services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who we are
Tech for Good Advisory (Pty) Ltd is a South African company that helps nonprofits, NPCs and community organisations access nonprofit software benefits, set up professional email and collaboration, use AI responsibly, build a credible online presence, and supply, rent and support computer hardware and accessories.
2. Use of this website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes, and not in any way that could damage, disable or impair it, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it. Content on this site is provided to help you understand our services and request an assessment — it is general information, not a binding quote, until confirmed in writing.
3. Quotes, scope & fees
We work on fixed-scope, once-off fees for most engagements, with an optional monthly care plan for ongoing management. Every quote — whether for software setup, email migration, AI work, website services, or hardware purchase or rental — sets out a clear scope, deliverable and price before work begins. Hardware purchases and rentals may be subject to additional supplier or rental terms, which will be provided separately and form part of that specific agreement.
4. Hardware sales & rentals
Where we supply hardware, ownership passes to you on full payment, subject to any payment-plan or finance terms agreed in writing. Where we rent hardware, the equipment remains our property (or that of our financing/distribution partner) for the duration of the rental term, and must be returned in good working order, fair wear and tear excepted, at the end of the agreed term. Warranty terms follow the relevant manufacturer or distributor warranty unless we agree otherwise in writing.
5. Intellectual property
The content, design, logos and materials on this website belong to Tech for Good Advisory (Pty) Ltd or our licensors, and are protected by South African copyright and trademark law. You may view and share pages of this site for your own reference, but may not reproduce or repurpose our materials commercially without our written permission.
6. Third-party links & partners
This site may link to third parties, including our website-design partner Evolvea Digital and our ICT distribution and hardware partners. We are not responsible for the content, products or practices of third-party sites, and a link does not imply endorsement of everything on that site.
7. No warranty & limitation of liability
While we take care to keep this website accurate and our services reliable, the website and its content are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tech for Good Advisory (Pty) Ltd will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. This does not limit any liability that cannot be excluded under South African law, including in relation to the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, where applicable.
8. Termination
We may suspend or end access to our services where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached, or for any other lawful reason, with notice where practical.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version; continued use of our Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
